Verizon's 2011 Annual Report.
Overall, despite Verizon's lower income in 2011 than in 2010, the company still consistently turns over hefty profits. Of course, some would attest to this being the case only because of controversy regarding the gutting of workers' benefits. But looking at their financial reports, it's difficult to argue with the results -- even with questionable morality surrounding the figures. And with more customers switching everyday to the more efficient 4G-LTE network, Verizon looks to have another strong year with 2012, especially as Apple likely prepares to release the iPhone 5. The previous iteration brought huge revenue to Verizon, and one can only expect the same to hold true with this model. And as tablet sales continue to soar, the likelihood is that more consumers (and manufacturers) will look toward Verizon to host their networks -- especially given the shaky reputation of core rival AT&T.
The state of Verizon is STRONG.
